Deleting your Telederm account
You can delete your Telederm account at any time, from the app or from this page.
How to delete it
- In the app: Profile → Security → Delete account. We send a 6-digit code to your email to confirm it is you.
- Here: use and ask us to delete your account.
What is deleted
- Your login and password
- All of your sign-in sessions
- Apple and Google sign-in links, revoked with those providers
- Push notification tokens, so your devices stop receiving alerts
- Your email address is anonymised on the account record
What we have to keep
Telederm is a medical provider, so some records cannot be deleted on request. Your medical records, prescriptions and payment records are kept after your account is closed, because state and federal law require a licensed practice and pharmacy to retain them. We keep them for the minimum period the law in your state requires, and then dispose of them securely.
These retained records are no longer linked to a usable login: once your account is deleted, nobody can sign in as you.
