1. Telehealth Services

telederm.me provides telehealth consultations, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations for dermatologic conditions. Our healthcare providers are licensed and qualified to practice telemedicine in the states where we operate.

Telehealth services may not be appropriate for all medical conditions. In some cases, you may be advised to seek in-person care.

2. Informed Consent for Telehealth

By using telederm.me, you acknowledge and agree:

Nature of Services

  • You will submit medical history, photos, and responses for provider review.
  • A licensed provider will determine if treatment is appropriate.
  • Prescriptions (if approved) will be sent to a licensed pharmacy.

Provider-Patient Relationship

  • A provider-patient relationship is established only after a provider reviews your case and approves treatment.
  • Not all conditions can be treated via telehealth.

Privacy & Security

  • All data is protected under HIPAA and stored securely.
  • While we use industry-standard encryption, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

Consent to Treatment

  • You voluntarily consent to telehealth care, including risks/benefits.
  • You agree to follow provider instructions for prescribed medications.

Right to Withdraw

  • You may withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of our services.

Follow-Up & Communication

  • Use your secure patient dashboard for follow-up questions.
  • Providers may request updated photos/history before approving refills.

3. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. All personal health information is protected according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state privacy laws.

4. Medical Disclaimers

Not for Emergencies:

telederm.me is not for use in medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

No Provider-Patient Relationship:

Use of this website does not create a provider-patient relationship unless and until you complete a telehealth consultation and are accepted as a patient by one of our licensed providers.

No Guarantee of Diagnosis or Treatment:

We do not guarantee that a diagnosis or prescription will be provided in every case.

5. Prescription Policy

Prescriptions are provided at the discretion of our licensed healthcare providers and only when clinically appropriate and legal.

Some medications may not be available in all states or may require in-person evaluation.
