2. Dispute Resolution

Unless you timely opt-out of arbitration in accordance with these terms and conditions, you and Telederm.me agree that all disputes between you and us or you and the medical groups or providers arising out of or related to these terms and conditions or the service, with limited exceptions, will be resolved by binding and final arbitration and you and we waive all rights to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration, as further set forth below. We explain some exceptions and how you can opt out of arbitration below.

3. Emergency Medical Conditions

If you have a medical emergency, seek in-person emergency care immediately or dial 911. The service is not appropriate for all medical conditions or concerns.

4. Modifications to the Agreement

Telederm.me reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

5. Service Description

Telederm.me provides telehealth services for dermatological care. These services are not for emergency medical needs.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must keep your account password secure. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

8. Prohibited Activities

You are prohibited from using the service to engage in illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized uses; infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights; or transmit viruses or any other malicious code.

9. Intellectual Property

12. Termination

We may terminate your access to all or any part of our services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the state in which our company is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms of Service is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on the site constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and Telederm.me.

16. Visit Cancellation & Refund Policy

By starting a visit, you acknowledge that provider time and administrative review begin immediately. If a synchronous visit required by state law cannot be completed due to non-response within 30 days despite multiple contact attempts, the visit will be cancelled. The visit fee is non-refundable; the formula fee and shipping cost will be refunded.

17. Prescription & Pharmacy Policy

Prescription Fulfillment

If a provider determines that prescription treatment is appropriate after reviewing your consultation, the prescription will typically be sent to our affiliated pharmacy for preparation and shipment to the address provided during your visit.

Many treatments offered through our platform involve custom compounded medications, which are prepared specifically for each patient based on the provider's prescription.

Custom Compounded Medications

Custom compounded medications are made specifically for you after your provider reviews your consultation.

Once the compounding or preparation process has started, the prescription cannot be cancelled, transferred, or refunded, as the medication is prepared specifically for you and cannot be reused or resold.

Prescription Transfers

Patients may request that a prescription be sent to a pharmacy of their choice when applicable.

However, once a prescription has been transferred to another pharmacy, our providers and pharmacy are no longer able to:

  • Manage refills through our platform
  • Modify the transferred prescription
  • Coordinate dispensing through the outside pharmacy

For questions regarding filling, refills, or dispensing of a transferred prescription, patients should contact the pharmacy where the prescription was sent.

Follow-Up Care

Patients may contact our providers through the platform regarding questions related to their consultation.

If a prescription has been transferred outside of our pharmacy, our providers may not be able to manage that prescription through our system. Additional treatment changes or prescriptions may require a new consultation so the provider can properly review your condition.

Visit Fees

Consultation fees cover the provider's time reviewing your medical history, evaluating your condition, and creating a treatment plan.

Consultation fees are non-refundable once the provider has begun reviewing the case, even if the patient chooses not to proceed with treatment or fills the prescription elsewhere.

Treatment Expectations

Dermatologic conditions often require consistent treatment and time to evaluate results. Many treatments, including hair loss therapies and acne treatments, may require several weeks to months of consistent use before noticeable improvement occurs.

Patients are encouraged to follow the treatment plan provided by the clinician and contact the platform with questions about their care.
