Seborrheic Dermatitis
What is seborrheic dermatitis?
A common skin condition that causes red, flaky, greasy patches — especially around the scalp, eyebrows, nose, ears, or chest.
How to Tell If You Have It
- Red, greasy-looking skin with yellow or white scale
- Itchy or burning areas on the scalp or face
- Flaking like dandruff, but with redness
- Often worse in winter or times of stress
Why It Happens
It’s linked to an overgrowth of yeast on the skin combined with inflammation. It’s not caused by poor hygiene.
How We Help
We offer prescription-strength antifungal and anti-inflammatory compounds to calm flare-ups and manage long-term symptoms.
What to Expect
You may receive a topical treatment with ketoconazole, zinc, or mild corticosteroids, tailored to your severity and skin location.
