Raynaud’s
(Cold-Induced Skin Changes)
What is raynaud’s?
Raynaud’s is a condition that affects blood flow to certain parts of the body — usually fingers and toes — causing them to feel cold, numb, and turn pale or blue in response to cold or stress.
How to Tell If You Have It
- Fingers or toes turn white, then blue or purple when cold or anxious
- Numbness or tingling in the affected area
- May feel painful or throb when blood flow returns
- Episodes that come and go
Why It Happens
Blood vessels overreact and temporarily restrict blood flow to extremities. It’s more common in women and in colder climates.
How We Help
We compound prescription topicals that improve circulation and help reduce the frequency and severity of Raynaud’s episodes.
What to Expect
Formulas may include vasodilators or warming agents in a base that improves absorption in affected areas like hands and feet.
